Task section 2, task 4

 When I was at my friends house, we remembered that next week it was my best friends birthday. I wanted to organize a surprise a surprise party for her because she did the same thing to me.

 So I asked my friends if we could do something for her and they agreed. We prepared almost everything with the help of our parents. We sent invitations, we prepared the drinks, the food, we rented an awesome and big place for the party, and most importantly, we kept the secret until the surprise party. It was really difficult to keep the secret because she was all day with us.

 Finally it was her birthday and we did this plan to take her to the building were all of her friends where. When she arrived she was surprised because of what we did for her. She thank us and she had a great time at the party

 Write a story for a writing competition about a time you organized a surprise party for a friend. Say why you decided to have a surprise party, what you had to prepare for it and what your friend thought of the party

We rented, with the money of our parents, this awesome place just by the beach that my best friend loved. When we surprise her, she was thrilled! She couldn't believe it.

Utah, the white city

 Utah is one of the coldest and hottest places in the United States. Their snowparks, water parks, hicking, rapelling, and rock climbing. People in Utah are really nice and kind.

 In winter, snowboarders and skiers go to Utah to do what they like to do. Almost every people I met did ski,snowboard or even both! Utah has the best snow in the world, the best snowparks and the best snowcenters in the world. The most famous parks are Alta, Park City, and much others.

 In summer, people go to Seven Peaks, the best water park in Utah. Thanks to the deserts and the mountains of Utah, Utah is one of the best rock climbing, rapelling, and hicking places in the world.

 You are going to take part un a sports competition. The prize is meeting a famous sports star. Write an email to a friend saying what are the rules of the competition are and who will you choose to meet if you win. Say what you will have to do to prepare for the competition.

Hi Seba, whats up? I'm excited because we're going to have a rugby competition and i'll like you to come. This is going to be awesome because if we win, we can meet a famous star, and we can choose! I want that Dan Carter visits us, because he's awesome!

I'm preparing myself by going to the gym 5 times a week, and playing rugby almost every day. I know you don't know how to play so i'll tell you some rules. A try is 5 points, there are 15 players per team, and is a 80 minute game.

Task section 2, number 5

 You have just watched a sports event. A player broke a rule but did not receive any penalty. Write a report fir the event organizers explaining what you saw and why this is not acceptable. Say what you think the organizers of the event must do so that this will not happen again in the future.

 Last night I was watching a rugby match between Crusaders and Chiefs. I was a great match. The Chiefs won 10 point to 19. It was a really close match. Both of the teams played really well and with really few penalties. But there was a penalty that none of the referees realized. It was a spear tackle from Adam Whitelock to Hika Elliot.

 It was a really bad tackle and none of the referees saw it. I think that the referees have to be more careful with  the penalties. They can add a new referee that can be upstairs watching carefully the match. This is unacceptable. I hope you can do something and add a new referee.

Your friend wants to become a television presenter. Write a  letter to your friend saying what he/she will have to do to be a television presenter, what he/she might find difficult and if you think he/she will be successful.

Dear John,

I received your letter and I like that you want to become a television presenter. I don't know that much about television but I did a research about that. What you have to do is go to the try outs of the television channel near your city. You have to be nice and be social to get a job like that. I think that you can be successful because you have the spirit and the attitude of someone on television.

A healthy place for a school can be playing sports daily, eating good food in the breaks and at lunch, and socializing with your class, teamates, and other people.

What can happend is that the students don´t eat well because they like to eat junk food, their family eats badly, or the lunch at the cafeteria or at the kiiosko, it can happend that they don´t play sports, they don´t make sports a daily-life activity, or they don´t have the resources to play sports.

  What could be worked on to make your school a healthier place? Outline solutions
We can make the cafeteria serve better and healthier food, make the students play sports, and do social, fisical, and mental activities for the students.
How are eating habits in American schools?Review the information in the graph.
They are not good, because junk food is available at schools, which is leaded to obesity. 40 percent of the students eat one or more snacks at school, and 68 percent drink a sugar drink. 

 What kind of students has the worst eating habits, elementary, middle or high? Why?
At elementary school, the worst eating habit is eating sweet, salty, and high fat snacks. And at middle and high school, the worst eating habit is drinking sugar-sweetened beverages.

What is your opinion about junk food restriction policies at schools of the U.S.?
I think that the USDA did a great job by restricting the students eating junk food that is not good for us. I think that they are a great example for our country and that they did a good choice by making the future generations healthy.

Would you agree or disagree with a similar policy at your school?
I would agree, because we have to be a school of excellence and we have to be in good shape because we have to play our sports well and we will be happier with our body.
